Job Description:
As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers to support learning across the curriculum and may deliver pre-planned lessons or provide PPA cover when required. You will play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic progress, behaviour, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:*Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
*Support learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 as required.
*Provide targeted interventions for individuals and small groups.
*Support classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
*Assist with planning, assessment, and resource preparation.
*Work collaboratively with teaching staff and senior leaders.
*Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.
Requirements:*HLTA status or relevant Level 4/5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
*Experience working in a primary school setting.
*Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
*Confidence leading lessons and supporting pupil progress.
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
