Gas Engineer – Service & Breakdown (Temp to Perm)
Waltham Forest
Monday – Friday | 42.5 hours per week | No Call-Out
We currently have a vacancy with one of our leading Housing Association clients for an exiting temp-to-perm opportunity. This is a fantastic chance to secure long-term, stable work within the social housing sector without the pressure of call-out duties.
THE ROLE:
As a Service & Breakdown Engineer you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance across domestic social housing properties. Your day to day will include:
*Carrying out repairs, servicing and fault finding on domestic gas boilers and appliances
*Completing 6-8 jobs per day on average
*Working efficiently using a PDA system
*Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards
*Area: Waltham Forest
*Monday - Friday
*42.5 hours per week
*Social Housing properties
*6-8 jobs per day on average
*Work via a PDA
*No call-out rota
What we’re looking for:
*Minimum 5 years’ experience in heating/gas engineering
*At least 3 years’ experience within social housing
*Up-to-date gas qualifications (essential)
*Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
*Checkable references
*Full availability Monday to Friday
