We are currently recruiting for an experienced Area Supervisor to join a well-established operational business, overseeing activities at a busy and fast-paced site.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of site operations, while acting as a key point of contact for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
The Role
As Area Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of site activities, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
*Supervising on-site teams and ensuring all activities are completed in line with safety procedures and company standards
*Acting as the main point of contact on site, resolving operational issues and maintaining strong working relationships
*Coordinating staff and equipment to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
*Supporting, mentoring, and developing team members to maintain performance standards
*Monitoring site performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery
*Ensuring all work complies with relevant legislation and internal policies
*Working closely with senior management to support planning and operational targets
About You
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with strong supervisory experience in a hands-on environment.
You will have:
*Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within an operational or industrial setting
*Strong understanding of health & safety procedures and compliance
*The ability to manage workloads, people, and priorities effectively
*Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
*A practical, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
*A full UK driving licence
