Geotechnical Project Manager
London
£50,000 - £65,000 + benefits
A well-established engineering contractor in London to recruit a Geotechnical Project Manager to support a growing pipeline of ground investigation and infrastructure projects.
This role offers the opportunity to take responsibility for project delivery, client management, and site operations within a structured and supportive team.
The Role
You will manage geotechnical and ground investigation projects from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, and within budget.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing ground investigations and site operations
*Coordinating subcontractors, including drilling teams
*Preparing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements
*Overseeing project programmes, budgets, and resources
*Producing and reviewing factual and interpretative reports
*Acting as the main point of contact for clients
*Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Requirements
*Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering or similar
*5-10 years’ experience in geotechnical engineering or ground investigation
*Experience managing projects and site works
*Strong technical reporting skills
*Good client-facing and communication ability
*Full UK driving licence
