Special Needs Educator
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join a welcoming special school in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed SEN Teacher to make a real impact working with pupils with ASD and challenging behaviour in a supportive and structured environment.
As a Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with autism and behavioural needs.
The successful Teacher will work closely with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders to provide a consistent and nurturing approach that supports both academic and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver creative lessons as an SEN Teacher for students with ASD and challenging behaviour
*Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
*Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
*Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and pastoral teams
*Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience or strong interest in working within a special school setting
*Understanding of ASD and challenging behaviour
*Strong behaviour management and communication skills
*Passion for education and training and supporting young people
