Our client is looking to recruit a Finance Manager for a hybrid role to oversee the transactional team.
Your new role
You will be managing a team of 6 across the purchase and sales ledger, oversee reconciliations for customers and suppliers, ensuring all records provide a true and fair view and that discrepancies are promptly resolved. A key responsibility will be the efficient preparation of supplier payments within agreed terms and SLAs, alongside maintaining the debtor’s ledger with accurate record-keeping and timely billing. With a strong commitment to continuous improvement, professional standards, and collaborative team work, you will monitor performance, address underperformance, and identify opportunities to maximise results. You will also ensure that all VAT and statutory requirements are met for debtor and creditor payments, while upholding audit standards and working effectively with auditors. The role includes representing the team at internal and external meetings and providing operational cover as needed.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have experience of managing a transactional team along with good systems skills, including Excel and the ability to work with key stakeholders.
What you’ll get in return
Salary £40000 - £45000, plus enhanced pension, 27 days holiday plus bank holidays and flexible working
