Office Administrator
*Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
*Location: Glasgow
*Starting Salary: Circa £30k, dependent on experience
We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to assist in the day-to-day operations of a family-owned business based in Glasgow. This role is ideal for someone who is customer-focused and adept at managing a busy office environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Handle general administrative duties including managing emails, documentation, invoicing support, and data entry.
*Use Simpro or similar job management/field service software to schedule and coordinate jobs efficiently.
*Manage diary entries, schedule engineers, book jobs, and handle changes efficiently.
*Utilize AI tools to support administrative tasks, such as drafting emails, organising data, and improving workflows.
*Serve as a key point of contact for clients and engineers, handling queries calmly and efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience in an office administration or coordination role, preferably in construction, electrical, or trades.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
*Experience with job management/field service software like Simpro, ServiceM8, Jobber, or Tradify.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace and comfortable learning new systems quickly.
*Proven experience in diary management and job scheduling.
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused mindset.
*Highly organised, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
