PMLD Teaching Assistant - SEN Schools

Tradewind Recruitment is a leading education agency, specialising in SEND placements. We are currently recruiting PMLD Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible, supply basis across specialist SEN schools in the South West.
This is a rewarding role supporting children and young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties in safe, nurturing environments.
The Role
*Support pupils with complex needs on a 1:1 or small group basis
*Assist with personal care, including feeding, toileting and mobility
*Facilitate sensory learning and communication (e.g. PECS, Makaton, AAC)
*Follow EHCPs and support therapeutic interventions
*Work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff

The Ideal Candidate
*Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/PMLD
*Comfortable with personal care responsibilities
