Production Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Production Assistant to join our friendly, hands-on workshop team. This role is perfect for someone comfortable in a fast-paced production environment, eager to contribute to various production processes and grow with the company.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Production & Personalisation: Operate machinery to personalise products, including laser engraving, dye sublimation, heat pressing, or vinyl printing.
*Quality Control: Meticulously check finished products for spelling errors, layout issues, and quality defects.
*Order Fulfilment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare finished gifts for dispatch, ensuring they are perfectly presented.
*Workshop Maintenance: Maintain a tidy, organised, and safe production room. Ensure machines are cleaned and maintained.
*Stock Management: Assist with receiving inventory, tracking material usage, and reporting low stock levels.
*Social Media Engagement: Advertise and promote products on social media and selling platforms.
*Flexibility: Support other departments during peak periods, such as Christmas.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
*Confidence to appear on live TikTok feeds.
*Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or fulfilment environment is preferred but not essential—we provide full training.
*Basic literacy, numeracy, and computer skills.
*Ability to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks.
*Proactive and able to use initiative.
*Quick adaptability to changes.
*Experience in E-commerce is advantageous.
*A passion for design and creativity.
*Flexibility to work extra hours during busy periods.
*Keen to learn and develop new skills.
