Job Description:
Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Healthcare Assistant / Domiciliary Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to a client in LE8 (Blaby Bypass area). This role involves assisting with daily living activities within the client’s home, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall wellbeing.
This position is for fortnightly Sundays (11:00am – 3:00pm) and offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about care to make a meaningful difference. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, reliable, and able to build trusting relationships through excellent communication.
Duties*Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming in line with care plans
*Support with medication administration and reminders as required
*Assist with mobility and transfers to promote independence and safety
*Prepare meals and support with feeding where necessary
*Provide companionship and emotional support
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
*Communicate effectively with the client, family, and healthcare professionals
*Follow all health and safety and safeguarding procedures
Training & Requirements*Full training will be provided
*Experience in care is desirable but not essential
*Understanding or willingness to learn about conditions such as Spina Bifida, Hydrocephalus, and Epilepsy
*Reliable, caring, and professional attitude
