Job Description:
Pastoral Lead - High Peak Area
Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a specialist educational setting in the High Peak area to recruit an experienced and compassionate Pastoral Lead.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong, empathetic professional to play a key role in supporting the wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development of students who require additional guidance to succeed in education.
The Role:
*Leading on pastoral care, wellbeing, and behaviour support across the setting
*Developing and implementing effective behaviour and support strategies
*Supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs
*Working closely with teaching staff, external agencies, and families
*Managing and mentoring support staff to ensure consistent pastoral approaches
*Monitoring attendance, engagement, and student progress from a pastoral perspective
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*Proven experience in a pastoral, safeguarding, or behaviour-focused role within education
*Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support others
*A calm, resilient, and solution-focused approach
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
