Job Title: Senior Account Director
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Location: Bristol (Hybrid 2 days in-office)
Salary: £60,000–£70,000
We’re working with a growing content agency in Bristol with ambitious plans. It’s a small, close knit team where you won’t get lost in layers of process or red tape, you’ll be listened to and be able to make a genuine impact on both the work and the direction of the business.
This is a role where you’ll work as a true extension of your clients’ teams. If you enjoy building proper partnerships, influencing strategy, and taking ownership of commercial outcomes, this could be a great role for you.
They’re now looking for a Senior Account Director to join the team, taking the lead on multiple key client relationships and playing a central role in shaping and delivering high-quality digital and content work.

What you’ll be doing
Own and lead senior client relationships, acting as a strategic partner and key point of contact across a portfolio of accounts
Set the overall direction for accounts, ensuring digital and content strategies are aligned with client goals and delivering meaningful results
Oversee account performance, taking responsibility for quality of work, delivery, and commercial outcomes
Manage account budgets, track profitability, and ensure accounts deliver financial success
Drive account growth by identifying new opportunities and leading their development
Support new business pitches and proposals, helping to win and onboard new clients
Lead, support, and develop the account team, setting standards, processes, and best practice to create a strong, collaborative environment
Bring fresh ideas, insights, and thought leadership to both clients and the internal team
The experience you’ll need
A strong track record in agency account management, ideally at Senior Account Director level
Confidence working with senior stakeholders and leading multiple client relationships
A deep understanding of digital channels and content strategy.
