SEN Teaching Assistant / Support Worker (Education)
Location: Various school across Bristol and Bath
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: Competitive rates (via Teaching Personnel) PAYE!
Are you passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives? We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to work as Teaching Assistants / Support Workers within educational settings, supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
This role involves working with pupils who may have a range of needs, including physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and mental and emotional challenges. Your support will be key in helping them access education, build confidence, and thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:*Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN

*Assist with physical care needs where required

*Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

*Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs

*Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

What We’re Looking For:*A caring, patient, and resilient attitude

*Part Time & Full Time Educators Wanted
*A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs

*Strong communication and teamwork skills

*Previous experience is beneficial but not essential

Requirements:*Must be 18+

*Willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS Certificate and register it on the Update Service

*Availability for weekday working hours (8:30am – 3:30pm)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
