If you’re a qualified accountant with strong analytical capability and a commercial mindset, this role is for you. It will give you the opportunity to shape financial performance, influence senior stakeholders, and play a key part in business-critical projects for an acquisitive Wealth Manager.
About the Role
This role offers a blend of FP&A and project-based work, including M&A support, business integrations, deep-dive reviews, and pricing analysis. You’ll work closely with senior leadership including business heads, the CFO, CEO & Investors, providing financial insight that drives decision-making and supports long-term strategy.
Being a credible business partner to these people is integral to the success of the role.
Key Responsibilities
*Partner with three business heads to deliver financial review, planning and analysis.
*Face off to Investors, the CFO & CEO at monthly meetings
*Attend monthly business reviews, presenting performance insights across P&L, net flows, AuM and other financial metrics.
*Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis for projects such as deep-dive reviews, MCRs, deferred consideration and compensation schemes.
*Lead finance’s involvement in strategic projects, including pricing, business integrations, M&A activity, and target operating model development.
*Manage FP&A oversight of new acquisitions and ensure smooth financial integration.
*Work cross-functionally with Entity Controllers and the Data Insight & Analytics team to ensure high-quality MI and reporting.
*Drive the divisional contribution to budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning cycles.
*Line-manage and develop one part-qualified team member.
Experience & Skills
You will bring:
*Solid experience in FP&A and Business Partnering; ideally 3-6 years PQE
*Exposure to Wealth Management or other financial services businesses
*Strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
*Excellent stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work with senior leadership.
*A commercial mindset, resilience under pressure, and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
