About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Sunderland. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
*Work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis to support pupil progress
*Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and activities
*Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Adapt to different classroom settings and age groups across Key Stages
Requirements:
*Previous experience working in UK primary schools is essential
*Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
*Confidence working across Key Stages (KS1 and KS2)
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
