Location: Walthamstow (E17)
Start Date: ASAP (interviews to be held asap)
Salary Range: Annual salary £28,000 - £33,000 depending on level of experience (Actual salary range is £25,823 - £30,642 depending on level of experience)
Hours: 32.5 hours a week (term time only; 52 weeks with 35 days annual leave)
Position: Games Design Tutor (This role is open to qualified and unqualified teachers)
This provision supports learners who have a key interest within the creative industries, namely Gaming, Music, Drama and Media.
The learners have variety of needs including social emotional and mental health difficulties, autism, comprehension delay, challenging behaviour, dyslexia, and additional learning difficulties.
This role will be on a full-time basis and will commence immediately (during term time only!)

Essential Qualifications:
*Maths and English GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent (Level 2)
*Degree/relevant qualification in the subject area

*Promote safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding (CPOMS)
*Record attendance and academic notes on Arbor MIS
*Track learner progression on the allocated Google Sheets
*Develop innovative opportunities for interdepartmental and intradepartmental project collaborations.
*Use a range of assessment methods and provide outstanding and prompt feedback to inspire learners.
*Complete learner one-to-one tutorials and individual learning plans on a bi-termly basis
*Facilitate the wide range of enrichment trips and guest speaker events arranged across the year.
*Work towards a stable learner retention and qualification achievement rate
*Undertake in-house training to remain up to date with awarding body expectations.
*Support learners to prepare for their assessed end-of-year project.
