We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team.


About the RoleIn this role, you will support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them manage behaviour, engage with learning, and develop positive coping strategies.
This is a highly rewarding position suited to someone who is patient, proactive, and committed to supporting young people who may need additional guidance to reach their full potential.


Key Responsibilities*Supporting students with SEN and behavioural needs in and out of the classroom
*Building strong, positive relationships to promote trust and engagement
*Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner
*Encouraging emotional regulation and social development
*Working collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
*Helping to maintain a structured and supportive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
