Job Description:
An experienced Electronics Technician will join a thriving Technical Consultancy bringing good knowledge in the areas RF Electronics, PCB prototyping and surface mount assembly. A comprehensive salary package will be offered with a base to £43K plus generous Pension, Company Bonus and much more.
The successful Electronics Technician will have 3+ years’ experience working within an electronics lab or assembly environment as well as having good wiring and soldering skills.
You may be a hobbyist who enjoys tinkering with electronics devices and/or hold a formal Electronic qualification. Bringing a flexible attitude to be able to manage multiple tasks and to thrive on solving a range of challenges, you’ll be a self-starter with good documentation skills.
Requirements for this Electronics Technician role include:
*Experience of working within an electronics Lab or electronics assembly environment.
*Demonstrable soldering skills of small surface mount devices (0603 and 0402) and PCB rework.
*Advanced Electronic assembly experience to IPC-A-610.
*Experience relating to RF Electronics and PCB prototyping.
*Ability to assemble complex prototypes from schematics and drawings.
*Good fault-finding skills.
