Job Description:
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in St Helens to recruit a dedicated Maths Teacher for a September 2026 start.This role would suit a confident teacher who is passionate about helping students develop their numeracy and problem-solving skills. The school has a supportive leadership team and a collaborative Maths department committed to raising attainment across KS3 and KS4.
The role will involve:*Delivering engaging Maths lessons to a range of abilities
*Planning and assessing in line with the national curriculum
*Supporting pupils to achieve their academic potential
*Contributing positively to the wider school community
The school is open to:*ECTs looking for strong mentoring and career development
*Experienced teachers seeking long-term stability or a permanent role
Requirements:*QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
*Recent experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school
*A positive, proactive teaching approach
