£35,000 - £45,000 | Oxford | 9-day Fortnight | Flexible Working Arrangements
OverviewMy expanding client is seeking a motivated and skilled Intermediate Sustainability Consultant to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on Whole Life Carbon Assessments (WLCA) and circular economy strategies, working with a diverse range of clients in London. This position will primarily concentrate on embodied carbon calculations and sustainability assessments.
This role is office based in London offering a hybrid working model with flexibility to suit your needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a passion for sustainability and a minimum of two years of relevant experience to contribute to impactful projects in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Responsibilities*Conduct Whole Life Carbon Assessments (WLCA) for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
*Develop and implement circular economy strategies tailored to client needs.
*Utilize OneClick LCA and other online software tools to perform embodied carbon calculations and generate detailed reports.
*Collaborate with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality sustainability solutions.
*Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and innovations in WLCA and circular economy practices.
*Support the development of internal processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications*A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in sustainability consulting, with a focus on WLCA and embodied carbon calculations.
*Proficiency in using OneClick LCA or similar software for carbon assessments.
*Strong understanding of circular economy principles and their application in the built environment.
*Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
*A degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or Architecture is preferred.
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
