Electrician - Rugby | £30,000-£35,000 + weekend allowance + long-term stability

We’re recruiting for an Electrician to join an established facilities team in Rugby, working within a secure prison environment. This role offers a stable, long-term position with structured working patterns and ongoing development.
As an Electrician, you’ll carry out planned and reactive maintenance on essential Electrical systems, ensuring a safe and compliant environment in Rugby.

Key Responsibilities:
In this Maintenance Electrician role, you will:
*Carry out planned and preventive maintenance across electrical systems
*Diagnose faults and complete repairs

*Conduct inspections and testing in line with regulations
*Complete maintenance records and reports accurately
*Support general maintenance and operational requirements
*Work within strict Health & Safety procedures in a prison environment
What we’re looking for:
To be successful as an Electrician, you should have:
*City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Installation (Level 2+)
*18th Edition certification (or willingness to update)
*Experience in maintenance and fault finding
*Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements
*Basic IT skills
*Flexible approach to working patterns, including weekends
*Desirable knowledge of fire alarm and CCTV systems
