Job Description:
HR Business Partner, Western Europe (UK, UAE, South Africa)
*Location: Hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days home with occasional travel abroad (20%)
*Hours: Full-time, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday
*Job Type: Permanent
Reed HR have partnered with a fantastic company who are looking for a dedicated HR Business Partner to provide strategic and hands-on HR support across the UK, UAE, and South Africa. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality employee relations counsel, supporting the execution of core HR processes, and partnering closely with country and functional leaders to ensure a consistent, inclusive employee experience aligned with the company values.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Serve as a trusted advisor to country leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, workforce planning, policy implementation, and organisational decisions aligned with business strategy.
*Translate regional HR strategy into actionable local plans, providing HR support on policies, employment practices, and manager coaching across supported countries.
*Lead or support investigations, conflict resolution, and sensitive ER cases to ensure fair and compliant outcomes.
*Support the implementation of culture and engagement initiatives, tailoring communications and practices to local cultural norms.
*Support organisational and HR-driven change initiatives, helping managers and teams adapt to new processes and systems.
*Provide insights on workforce trends and regional HR risks, support recruitment efforts, and coordinate learning programs.
*Support performance management cycles and provide insights and coaching on goal setting, feedback, and performance conversations.
*Maintain accurate records and updates in HRIS systems, use HR analytics to identify trends, and present data-driven insights to leaders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Completed university studies in HR Management, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, or related fields.
*Proven experience as an HRBP or HR Generalist supporting multiple countries, with strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and local labor law.
*Familiarity with cultural and regional labor law differences, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and minimising legal risks.
*Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages beneficial.
*Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and comfortable using HR dashboards.
*Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple countries’ processes simultaneously.
*Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring of HR-related projects.
