Finance AdministratorLocation: Leicester, LE7
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum
Macildowie are recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join a growing and fast-paced finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual looking to build their career within finance while gaining exposure across a variety of accounting and administrative functions.
Working closely with the wider finance team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of financial operations while providing essential administrative support.
The RoleAs a Finance Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
*Investigating and resolving customer queries, escalating where necessary
*Processing credit notes and maintaining accurate financial records
*Accurately processing and submitting invoices for key accounts
*Managing invoice uploads across internal systems and customer portals to avoid payment delays
*Maintaining and updating customer account records and master data
*Supporting cash allocation and reconciliation processes
*Processing bank transactions and assisting with bank reconciliations
*Managing employee expenses through internal systems
*Supporting the Purchase Ledger team with invoice processing
*Assisting with payment processing and financial administration tasks
*Providing general administrative support to the wider finance team as required
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
*Previous office-based administration experience (finance experience desirable but not essential)
*Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook)
*Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
*High attention to detail and accuracy when processing financial data
*Experience using Sage, Xero, or similar accounting systems would be advantageous
