It’s a place where standardisation, automation and continuous improvement are more than buzzwords - they’re the way you work every day.You’ll be trusted to review offshore processing, prepare and review journals, complete balance sheet and bank reconciliations, and support Financial Control and Audit teams. You’ll also play a key role in challenging inefficient processes and helping shape a more global, streamlined way of working.
What you’ll be doing
*Preparing journals and core month-end accounting tasks to agreed timetables
*Completing intercompany, fixed asset, balance sheet and bank reconciliations
*Reviewing offshore processing quality and providing feedback or training
*Performing initial P&L reviews to ensure accuracy
*Maintaining balance sheet integrity and escalating issues appropriately
*Ensuring SOPs reflect global standards and best practice
*Supporting continuous improvement and process optimisation

What you’ll need to succeed
*Several years’ experience in an accounting role, ideally within a large business
*Strong Excel skills and confidence working with complex financial systems
*High attention to detail, analytical thinking and excellent organisation
*Clear, confident communication with stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Audit and offshore teams
*Experience reviewing others’ work or working with offshore teams (preferred)
*Studying towards ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA with no more than four exams remaining
