Job Description:
We are working with a provider of social housing to assist them with the recruitment of a permanent Contracts Surveyor.
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
*Operational responsibility for the delivery of all responsive, void, planned, capital investment and service chargeable maintenance activities within a designated area.
*Forming and maintaining long-term relationships with key supply chain partners in delivering programmes of planned investment, major repair projects and responsive maintenance to create a seamless service with shared values.
*Ensuring that all projects/works are undertaken in safe and CDM compliant manner.
*Liaising with design consultants, managing agents, local authorities, and/or other construction related professionals as required
*Producing specifications/schedules of works and carrying out localised procurement for suitable projects

*Proven experience of*operating long-term partnering contracts.
*delivering large scale programmes of Capital Investment component works on
*time and to budget across a wide geographical area.
*delivering a responsive/void/ service-charge maintenance service.
*A full understanding of CDM compliance.
*Significant quality control and on-site project management experience.
*Knowledge of building components, diagnosis of building defects, building/contract law, building regulations.
*A full UK driving license / car with the ability to drive as and when required by the business.
