Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: Newcastle (Accessible by public transport!)
Contract: Full time, Temp to Permanent
Salary: £90-110 a day (Dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant who can work closely with staff and students, whilst allowing them to gain first-hand classroom experience in schools across Newcastle and continue to expand their knowledge.
What this role will entail:
*Creating a motivating and accepting classroom environment that encourages growth and passion
*Providing both group and 1:1 support with students
*Collaborating with teachers to give the best possible support
*Applying and improving subject knowledge during your time in the classroom
What the ideal candidate looks like:
*A relevant degree, or equivalent (a bachelor’s degree in education is preferred but not essential)
*Previous experience in the classroom/supporting students (desirable but not essential)
*DBS check (or willing to apply)
*Ability to work as a collective and collaborate in a professional setting
*Strong communication skills
*Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour
