Job Description:
Primary Teacher – Upper KS1
Location: Gateshead
Start Date: May 2026
Duration: Until the end of the academic year
Pay: £150–£170 per day (paid weekly)
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Gateshead who are seeking a fully qualified teacher to join their team after the Easter holidays.
This is a full-time role teaching Upper Key Stage 1, running through to the end of the academic year.
The Role:*Full class teacher responsibility within Upper KS1
*Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons
*Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Working collaboratively with staff and leadership
The Ideal Candidate:*Holds QTS (or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification)
*Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Upper KS1
*Strong classroom management skills
*Passionate, reliable and committed to pupil progress
What We Offer:*Competitive daily rate of £150–£170, depending on experience
