Job Title: Press Brake OperatorLocation: East Lancashire
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Role OverviewWe are currently recruiting an experienced Press Brake Operator for an immediate start to join an established manufacturing company based in East Lancashire. This is a day-shift, temporary to permanent opportunity, suited to a capable operator with hands-on experience in programming, setting, and operating press brake machines within a production environment, including work with steel components.
Key Responsibilities*Program, set, and operate CNC press brake machines
*Produce components in line with engineering drawings and specifications
*Select and set correct tooling for each job
*Carry out first-off and in-process quality checks
*Troubleshoot and resolve production or quality issues
*Adjust programs and machine settings to maintain accuracy and efficiency
*Work to tight tolerances and production targets
*Maintain high standards of health & safety and housekeeping
Skills & Experience Required*Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator
*Experience in programming and operating press brake machines
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
*Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
*Experience working with steel or sheet metal components
*Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Desirable (Not Essential)*Experience using AMADA press brakes
*Familiarity with different press brake controls and tooling systems
