Job Description:
Job: Graduate Learning Support
Type: Long term contract, with permanent options available
Hours: Full Time - School Hours
The Role:
*Permanent vacancies across both special needs schools and mainstream SEN provisions.
*Roles across Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Post 16 age groups.
*Supporting children with varying learning needs such as Autism, Asperger’s, Down Syndrome and other learning/social requirements.
*Working on a 1:1 with specific children, helping them access their individualised education.
*Supporting children in crisis and demonstrating appropriate behaviour management for those learners displaying challenging behaviour.
The Ideal Applicant:
*Graduates! - If you have just finished your degree and looking for your first full time role within the education sector, either within a mainstream school or a special needs school/setting!
*Ideal for anyone recently graduated from an Education, Family Support, Criminology, Coaching, Psychology or Child Care based degree!
*Committed, enthusiastic and passionate about providing all learners they work with a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment.
*Keen to learn! - Schools are looking for applicants who want to grow in their career and role, be willing to take up training and learn new skills to help them within a learning support position!
