About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to work within a school’s Inclusion Unit, supporting students who require additional guidance to succeed both academically and emotionally. As an Inclusion Unit TA, you will play a vital role in promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and reintegration into mainstream education.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs
*Implement behaviour management strategies and support plans
*Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
*Support learning across a range of subjects
*Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
*Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Requirements*Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, or similar role
*Strong behaviour management skills
*A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
*Experience supporting students with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour (desirable)
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
