Job DescriptionAn established manufacturing business based in Basildon is currently seeking an experienced Leather Trimmer / Upholsterer to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled upholsterer looking for immediate work with competitive hourly rates.
The successful candidate will be responsible for trimming and upholstering leather components to a high standard, working to specifications and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities*Trimming and upholstering leather components
*Measuring, cutting, shaping, and fitting leather materials
*Working with foam, frames, and upholstery tools
*Reading and working from drawings, patterns, or instructions
*Ensuring finished products meet quality and safety standards
*Maintaining a clean and organised work area
*Working efficiently to meet production deadlines
Requirements*Previous upholstery or leather trimming experience is essential
*Confident working with leather and upholstery materials
*Good attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
*Ability to use hand tools and industrial upholstery equipment
*Reliable, punctual, and able to start work immediately
*Ability to work independently or as part of a team
