Are you passionate about sustainability and ready to drive meaningful change? We’re looking for an Environmental & Sustainability Manager to lead our client’s strategy, champion climate action, and embed impactful practices.
This is more than a compliance role — it’s about inspiring behaviour change, shaping greener estates, and helping our client reach Net Zero. You’ll be the go-to expert, influencing decisions at every level and making sustainability a core part of how our client operates.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Leading the development and delivery of Sustainability Strategy
*Embedding environmental thinking into property and estate planning
*Driving behaviour change — from biodiversity to carbon reduction
*Monitoring resource use and reporting progress to senior leaders
*Reducing waste and improving efficiency across utilities, paper, and landfill
*Championing sustainability as a key part of our culture and operations
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who’s not just qualified — but driven to make a difference.
*Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
*Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), ISEP or NEBOSH Environmental Certificate
*Strong knowledge of ISO14001, sustainability legislation, and best practice
*Experience in environmental management, estates, or multi-site operations
*Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
*Analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making
*Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites
*Familiarity with DfE environmental strategy and school climate commitments
