Plating Operative
Pay - £13.25- £15.00 depending on skill level .
Monday to Friday with an early finish on Friday.
About the Role:
As a Plating Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our plating processes. This temporary position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with chemicals and have a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
*Quality Control: Monitor daily and weekly quality control checks for plating solutions to ensure compliance with industry standards.
*Mould Preparation: Prepare moulds for the plating process by taping up and shielding as necessary.
*Tank Monitoring: Regularly oversee all products within the plating tanks to ensure they adhere to the correct plating schedule.
*Fixture Repair: Utilise your basic mechanical skills to repair fixtures and fittings essential for the plating process.
*Water Management: Monitor and maintain the deionised water and effluent plant to ensure optimal operation.
What We’re Looking For:
*A proactive individual with experience in dealing with chemicals and treatment processes.
*Basic electrical and mechanical understanding is preferred.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
*Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently.
*A passion for maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the workplace.
