A vibrant secondary school in Batley is seeking a qualified UK Art/DT Teacher (QTS essential) to join their creative department immediately and inspire learners across KS3 & KS4. If you’re passionate about unleashing imagination, encouraging experimentation, and helping students develop real design-thinking skills - this role is for you!
What We’re Looking For
*Qualified UK Teacher (QTS/QTLS) specialising in Art and/or Design Technology
*Recent experience teaching KS3 & KS4 Art & DT
*Someone who brings energy, creativity, and professionalism to the classroom
*A teacher confident in delivering engaging lessons, assessing progress, and supporting students of all abilities.
*A team player who can slot into a friendly department and hit the ground running.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Delivering dynamic Art & DT lessons that spark curiosity and creativity
*Supporting students with coursework and practical projects
*Bringing fresh ideas, fun techniques, and strong subject knowledge
*Maintaining high standards of behaviour, safety, and classroom organisation
*Contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment
Pay & Contract
*Paid to scale (MPS/UPS depending on experience)
*Full-time role
*Immediate start
*Continuing until the end of the academic year
