Teaching Assistant - KS2 (Full-Time, Long-Term)
Location: Tameside
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Tameside. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity to work within a Key Stage 2 setting, supporting pupils in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the class teacher, helping to raise attainment and ensure all pupils are engaged and progressing.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide classroom support within a KS2 setting
*Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to support learning
*Assist in delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum
*Support pupils with a range of abilities and learning needs
*Help maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Requirements:
*Previous experience working within a KS2 setting
*Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
*Confident supporting literacy and numeracy
*Good behaviour management skills
*Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
*A proactive, positive, and flexible approach
