Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant – Wigan (September Start)
A welcoming primary school in Wigan is looking to appoint a committed Teaching Assistant to support pupils within Key Stage 1 from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid classroom experience who is confident working with children with SEND and can provide both academic and pastoral support.
The role will involve:
*Supporting teaching and learning across KS1
*Working closely with pupils with additional needs, adapting support where required
*Assisting the class teacher with planning and classroom organisation
*Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
We’re looking for someone who:
*Has prior experience working in a school setting
*Has supported children with SEND (professionally or through strong relevant experience)
*Is patient, proactive and able to build strong relationships with pupils
*Can work effectively as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
