We’re partnering with a highly regarded global investment management firm looking to hire an Investment Strategist to join their London-based Investment Management team.
This is a high-impact role at the intersection of investment strategy, macro research, and client engagement, ideal for someone who enjoys shaping market views and communicating them to sophisticated investors.
The Role
As an Investment Strategist, you will play a key role in delivering macroeconomic, geopolitical, and portfolio strategy insights that inform asset allocation decisions and enhance investment conversations with clients and internal stakeholders.
You will work closely with portfolio managers and investment teams while also acting as a trusted voice in client discussions, presentations, and market commentary.
Key Responsibilities
*Represent the investment team in client meetings, reviews, and roadshows
*Deliver market updates, strategy presentations, and portfolio positioning insights
*Conduct analysis of global macroeconomic trends, market dynamics, and geopolitical developments
*Contribute to Strategic & Tactical Asset Allocation discussions (SAA/TAA) and portfolio positioning
*Produce investment commentary, market outlooks, and thought leadership pieces
*Collaborate with portfolio managers, research teams, and client-facing teams to develop investment content
*Support the articulation of the firm’s market views to clients and stakeholders
Ideal Candidate
*7+ years’ experience in investment strategy, macro research, multi-asset investing, or client portfolio management
*Strong understanding of macroeconomics, asset allocation, financial markets, and portfolio construction
*Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex investment ideas into clear narratives
*CFA (preferred) or equivalent investment qualification
*Spanish language skills are advantageous
