Job Description:
We’re partnering with a leading global multi-strat hedge fund on a high-impact hire who will lead their strategic analytics function, with a focus on applying advanced statistical modelling to support some of the firm’s most important investment and business decisions.
This is a senior, highly visible role working closely with the CFO, CIO and broader leadership team, with a remit centred on building and evolving sophisticated analytical frameworks to evaluate complex trade-offs under uncertainty. The position sits at the intersection of finance, economics and quantitative modelling, with exposure across investment strategy, capital allocation, infrastructure and research priorities. The focus is not traditional reporting or FP&A, but rather developing probabilistic models, scenario analysis and simulation tools that provide clear, commercially grounded insight into strategic choices.
The successful individual will combine strong statistical and modelling capability with the ability to operate at a strategic level, partnering with senior stakeholders to challenge assumptions and improve decision-making. Backgrounds could include quantitative roles within buy-side firms, macro research or strategy teams, or consulting environments focused on analytics, capital allocation or decision science.
This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a capability with real influence across the firm, working alongside world-class investors, researchers and technologists in a highly collaborative environment.
