Adecco are recruiting on behalf of the BD Group for a Carpenter - Multi Trade
*Location: Barking & Dagenham
*Pay: £21.70 per hour PAYE
*Contract: Temporary or Fixed-Term Contract
*Hours: Monday-Friday, 36 hours per week (7am-3pm or 8am-4pm)
*Full UK Manual Driving Licence Required
*Council van + fuel card provided
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter with multi-trade experience to join the BD Group Repairs & Maintenance team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality carpentry work while supporting additional trades to ensure homes remain safe, secure, and well maintained.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out carpentry repairs including doors, windows, frames, kitchen units, and flooring.
*UPVC repairs and installations.
*Perform multi-trade tasks such as basic plumbing, patch plastering or general maintenance.
*Complete routine inspections and resolve issues promptly.
*Maintain professional communication with tenants and internal teams.
*Update job status using PDA systems.
What We’re Looking For
*NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (or equivalent).
*Proven multi-trade skills.
*Experience in social housing repairs (preferred).
*Strong awareness of Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements.
*Ability to work independently and achieve first-time fixes.
