Plumber - Multi Trade
Adecco are recruiting on behalf of the BD Group for a Plumber - Multi Trade
*Location: Barking & Dagenham
*Pay: £21.70 per hour PAYE
*Contract: Temporary or Fixed-Term Contract
*Hours: Monday-Friday, 36 hours per week (7am-3pm or 8am-4pm)
*Full UK Manual Driving Licence Required
*Council van + fuel card provided
About the Role
We are looking for Plumbers with strong multi-trade experience to deliver high-quality repairs, maintenance and installation work across a range of properties. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, reliable plumbing services while supporting other trade areas as needed.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out plumbing repairs: leaks, blockages, fixture installations, heating-related work.
*Install new plumbing systems in line with regulations.
*Complete multi-trade repairs including tiling, patch plastering, carpentry and maintenance.
*Respond to emergency call-outs swiftly and professionally.
*Use PDAs to update job progress and record accurate information.
*Communicate clearly with residents and colleagues.
What We’re Looking For
*NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds in Plumbing (or equivalent).
*Multi-trade abilities (e.g., basic carpentry, plastering, tiling).
*Experience within repairs or social housing environments preferred.
*Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
