Actuarial Product Specialist - Life & Pensions Transformation York / London / Bristol | 18-month FTC | Hybrid (~50% office) | Competitive salary + bonus + strong benefits

A large Life & Pensions business is looking for an actuary to play a key role in a major transformation programme, focusing on breaking down complex legacy products and translating them into clear calculation logic for a new platform.

This isn’t a traditional reporting or pricing role - it suits someone who enjoys getting into the detail of how products actually work.

You’ll need: *Nearly/newly qualified actuary, or strong part-qualified (including those who have stepped away from exams)
*Experience in life insurance or pensions
*Strong Excel skills and a sharp eye for detail
*Ability to interpret complex product mechanics, including guarantees and charging structures
*Comfortable working across actuarial, IT and change teams
Experience with with-profits, protection or legacy products is a bonus but not essential.
