Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location:Oldham - Primary School
Salary: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Oldham to recruit a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual committed to supporting children’s learning and development in a dynamic school environment.
About the RoleAs an HLTA, you will play a key role across the school, supporting teaching and learning in a variety of classroom settings. You will deliver targeted interventions, support individual pupils, and provide whole-class cover during teacher PPA time. Confidence in classroom management and adaptability are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver high-quality learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher
*Provide whole-class cover when required
*Support small groups and individual pupils to help them achieve their full potential
*Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment of pupils’ progress
*Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider school teams
The Ideal Candidate Will Have*HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
*Proven experience within a primary school setting
*Strong classroom management and communication skills
*The ability to motivate, inspire, and engage young learners
*A proactive, flexible, and positive approach
