Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to join our Key Stage 1 team from September.
This is a varied and rewarding role, with mornings spent supporting teaching and learning across KS1, and afternoons focused on providing 1:1 support for a pupil who benefits from additional guidance and consistency.
We are looking for someone who:
*Has experience working with young children, ideally within KS1
*Can build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
*Is patient, calm, and adaptable in a busy classroom environment
*Can support early reading, writing and maths with confidence
*Is able to deliver 1:1 support in a sensitive, structured, and encouraging way
*Works well as part of a team but can also use their own initiative
In this role you will:
*Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
*Work with small groups to reinforce learning
*Provide tailored 1:1 support each afternoon, helping a pupil access learning and develop confidence
*Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
