Role: Teaching Assistant
Pay: £95–£150 per day
Location: Greenwich

About the Role
You will work as part of a supportive team to provide high-quality classroom, small-group, and 1:1 support. Our SEN provision includes 10–11 high-needs pupils, and we require TAs who are confident, proactive, and able to adapt quickly.
Responsibilities include:
*Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social/emotional challenges.
*Working with children from vulnerable home environments and supporting those who may have experienced trauma or instability.
*Assisting with behaviour regulation using calm, consistent, and positive strategies.
*Supporting class teachers across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, with particular emphasis on upper KS2 behaviour management.
*Covering classes when required.
*Contributing to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive school culture.
*Completing a short SATs-style assessment as part of the recruitment process (Canterbury Road site requirement)
Staffing Needs
*Mainly looking for TAs
*Key stage 1 &2, strong behaviour management, positive, friendly, confident
*Occasional need for Reception TAs
*Open to H?LTAs
*Possible upcoming maternity cover
*TA’s start dates still TBC
Key Requirements
*Staff must show initiative and be proactive
*SEN provision requires experienced, capable TAs
*Strong behaviour management, in either Key Stage 1&2
*Experience supporting SEN pupils and confidence working with high-needs children.
*The ability to work with vulnerable families and manage challenging parental interactions professionally.
*We welcome applications from unqualified TAs with strong potential, as well as HLTAs.
