Room Leader Opportunity – Childwall (L16)
Are you an experienced and enthusiastic early years professional ready to take the next step in your career? A well-established nursery in Childwall is seeking a dedicated Room Leader to join their supportive and committed team.
Position Details
Role: Room Leader
Location: Childwall, Liverpool (L16)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities
*Lead, motivate and support a team of nursery practitioners within your allocated room.
*Deliver consistently high standards of care and early education for children aged 0–5 years.
*Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
*Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers and the nursery management team.
*Maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment at all times.
*Observe, monitor and assess children’s development, ensuring accurate record keeping.
Essential Requirements
*A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
*Proven experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
*Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
*A sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
*Paediatric First Aid qualification (desirable but not essential).
*A warm, caring and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
