About the Role
I am seeking an organised and proactive Business Support Manager to join a well-established, family-run accountancy firm based in Ilkeston. This is a maternity cover position, offering a great opportunity to play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the business while working within a supportive and close-knit team environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the firm
*Managing and supporting the administrative team
*Implementing and maintaining efficient office processes and procedures
*Acting as a key point of contact for internal staff and external clients
*Assisting with HR-related tasks, including onboarding and staff coordination
*Managing office resources, suppliers, and facilities
*Supporting partners with business operations and project work
*Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements
*Previous experience in an office or business support management role
*Strong organisational and leadership skills
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
*Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (experience with accountancy systems is desirable)
*A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
