About the Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Ware, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including PMLD and SLD.
This is a highly rewarding role where you will make a genuine difference to pupils’ daily lives while gaining valuable experience to support a long-term career in education.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with PMLD and SLD
*Assist students with complex learning, sensory, and communication needs

*Use visual supports, sensory approaches, and personalised interventions
*Encourage pupil engagement, independence, and social interaction
*Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and support teams
