About the Role
The successful candidate will oversee SEND provision across the school, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs and ensuring high-quality, inclusive practice throughout.
Responsibilities
*Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school.
*Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external agencies.
*Assess, review, and manage EHCPs, provision maps, and support plans.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date SEND documentation in line with statutory requirements.
*Provide advice and guidance to staff to promote inclusive teaching practices.
*Liaise effectively with parents and carers.
Requirements
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*NASENCO qualification or proven experience as a SENDCo.
*Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
