We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in the Pontefract area to recruit an experienced Year 3 Teacher for a full-time, long-term position, starting as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and committed teacher who enjoys making a real difference in the classroom and wants the stability of a long-term role within a supportive school environment.
The Role*Full responsibility for a Year 3 class, including planning, teaching and assessment
*Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
*Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
*Working collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil progress and wellbeing
*Maintaining clear communication with parents and the wider school team
The Ideal Candidate*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
*Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
*Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for pupil behaviour and achievement
*A professional, reliable and proactive approach to teaching
*Available to start immediately or at very short notice
