An accountancy practice based in Preston is seeking a part time Accountant to join their rapidly expanding business.
The role will involve undertaking accounts preparations for small, medium and large corporations compiled with the production of tax returns and producing VAT returns for these entities. Additionally, you will be dealing with clients, both on the phone and in person, resolving their queries and on occasions visiting their premises. Liaising with HMRC on regular basis and working as part of the team will also form an integral part of the role.
You must have several years’ experience within an accountancy practice of producing accounts preparations, tax returns and Vat returns as you will be expected to hit the ground running. Excellent communication is required as you will be liaising with different businesses and individuals on a professional basis as well as dealing with queries from HMRC.
